Freecycle is an initiative I created

to bring information and tips on

sustainability to more people.

Low fidelity stage

This is what the beginning stages of the project looked like, trying to find the style and vision of the Freecycle initiative. Here are some images of the website I linked above when I first started creating it. The bulk of the work for this initiative was the websites and the infographics that at this point in the journey I had not started making, I wanted to first establish a website format that I thought would fit with my projects adjectives which were clear, innovative, and sustainable.

Mid fidelity stage

In the middle fidelity stage of my work, I started to create social media posts and infographics that I would use to spread the word about sustainability issues in our world today to raise awareness of the specific facets of pollution that are harming the planet most. Along with informative infographics, I began crafting solution infographics specifically targeting plastic and cardboard packaging. These are images of what these pieces looked like that this stage.

high fidelity stage

The three images below were my creations for the 2022 BFA Exhibition at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Two infographics describing the facts and solutions about plastic and cardboard packaging, and the display of the

website along with Instagram posts gives the viewer a look into the reach of my project.

What you see below is a reel of all the applications and advertisement deliverables that I made throughout the process of this initiative’s creation and eventual finalization. If you want to check out the website:

green rating.

This was a project intended for people in any city (this example is for Champaign, IL) who want to gain more knowledge about the buildings around them in terms of their environmental effects. Along with this, provide information on the function of the building. In the example below, I look at a local power plant, giving the user details into how it operates and its history.

Web redesign.

This is a redesign I did of the website https://voyant-tools.org/, This was a complete formatting overhaul of the not so visually pleasing Voyant website. Voyant was a class client company so we worked with the company for the duration of the semester. Redesigning their website was the final deliverable.
